Jackson echoed his sister’s sentiments, saying, “Having my dad as a mentor impressed me to decide on Massive Brothers Massive Sisters, a charity constructed upon the muse that forming optimistic, intergenerational relationships can have a profound influence on younger lives.”
“As a visionary artistic,” he added, “my dad taught Satchel and me the significance of leisure as a cultural catalyst of change.”
Each organizations will obtain a grant from the HFPA for $25,000, totaling $50,000 made on Satchel and Jackson’s behalf, per the HFPA.
In a month, the famed director’s youngsters will get to gentle up the 2021 Golden Globes. Whereas the ceremony kicks off awards season in early January, it was moved to late February as a consequence of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
